Our personality type determines how we look at the world around us, how we make decisions, how we present ourselves to others, and how we interact with people. With 16 unique personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, it’s no wonder we sometimes have difficulty communicating with others! Those in leadership roles have the added responsibility of aiding others in making decisions, compounding the difficulties that can be encountered when communicating.
The seminar facilitators, Alice Wescott, Ph. D. and Beth Rosenzweig, M. Ed, will address the differences in the 16 personality types and offer insights into how we can understand and learn to appreciate these differences in order to facilitate communication. The application of this information is wide spread: teacher-children, parent-child (especially teens), engaged and young married couples, pastors, business executives, and anyone in a leadership role.
